Hi, my name is Dasol, and I am a general dentist who recently joined the Wauchope Dental team.

Originally born and raised in South Korea, I moved to Australia about 15 years ago. I began my journey in dentistry by studying dental technology and working as a dental technician. Driven by a desire to deepen my clinical knowledge and connect with patients face to face, I went on to complete my Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney.

I provide comprehensive general dental care, including composite bonding, fixed and removable prosthetics, root canal treatment, and simple to surgical extractions.

I am also currently expanding my clinical focus and skills in oral surgery.

I fell in love with dentistry because of the positive impact it allows me to make in people’s lives every day. What makes dentistry so special to me is its ability to create a genuine emotional transformation. We often see patients who hide their smile or hold back laughter due to anxiety or feeling self-conscious. Working with these patients is the most rewarding part of my career, as we can help restore both their aesthetic confidence and their functional oral health.

When I see patients, my main priority is to create a calm and welcoming environment where I can truly listen to their stories. I understand that the dental chair is not everyone’s favourite place, and I deeply appreciate the trust patients place in us when they ask for help. Every smile is unique and beautiful, and I never take that trust lightly.

Outside the clinic, I love spending time relaxing with my cat, watching TV shows, and exploring local spots for delicious food.
