My first visit was over 2 years ago, when I had an issue that needed attention quickly. They were able to fit me in at short notice and were very polite and thorough.
Since then I have attended the surgery numerous times and Dr Ditchfield has always been pleasant, professional and has gone out of his way to explain the procedures he is undertaking, by showing me x-rays where necessary.
I also like the fact that they will give you a written estimate of the dental work that needs to be carried out so that there are no surprises when you receive the account.
I have never liked going to the dentist, but now I don’t feel nervous beforehand. I am very happy with my experiences and would have no hesitation in recommending their services.
Shortly after moving to Port Macquarie 18 months ago, I suddenly required emergency dental treatment. Dr Ditchfield slotted me in very quickly the next morning before his daily appointments began. I have been attending his practice ever since.I was immediately put at ease at my first appointment and dental work required since then has been undertaken by Dr Ditchfield in a thoroughly professional manner.
Importantly, he has a warm, friendly, respectful and engaging manner; if you attend the practice for a first appointment, he will immediately put you at ease. This is worth emphasising since many patients are tentative and a little nervous when they visit a new dentist for the first time.

My adult son urgently required dental assistance. Wayne saw him that day. My son returned in a pain free state and with a contact number for over the weekend! My son has been a very satisfied patient since that day some three years ago (involving much dental work).
I was the next to require dental help – I had no hesitation in seeing Wayne. He explained the plan for my dental care and then we negotiated what to be done and when. That was two years ago.
